reports that Microsoft is moving towards more frequent OS updates with a product tastefully codenamed "Blue" they say will be a low cost, or even free release that will be standardized across desktops and phones to provide more frequent updates. This is based on hearing from "several sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans," and expands on a ZDNet story from this summer
