This is the issue. When games are built from the ground up around F2P they tend to be very irritating, as they reward those who pay over those who don't. There are some exceptions to this, like Dota 2 and (from the looks of it) Planetside 2, so it's not an absolute rule but it holds true most of the time. And we're talking about EA here.
