I thought the whole Retro-50s look was very stylish, and the idea that you only have a certain amount of time in a mission before enemy reinforcements become overwhelming was at least an interesting take on a rather stale genre. (and I say that even though I hate timed missions.)
But with the continuing delays and now this, I think things are looking pretty bleak for this game.

Yeah probably just as well. No one remembers Enforcer as it is.

I installed it, and promptly uninstalled it once I remembered the gameplay. The horrible, horrible...horrible Enforcer gameplay. I actually beat the game when it was new. I must have been bored out of my mind.
Hrm, I had mostly forgotten about this game. I actually was under the impression it had come out and bombed utterly. I was waiting to see it on a Steam sale for 5 bucks or something.
What a shame they are going the consolized crap route, the screenshots from way back when looked more interesting than whatever this new version is going to be.

Everything I saw from the previous version made me angry. What a loathsome piece of shit that was shaping up to be. This new version looks slightly less offensive, but I doubt I'd care if it turns out to be console-only.
XCOM: Enemy Unknown, on the other hand, looks like it'll be one of the best games of the year.
All we had was a setting and a few cool monster effects. I can't fathom that being loathsome.
