Wasteland 2 Wear

The Wasteland Chronicles announces plans for a clothing line based on Wasteland 2, inXile's upcoming RPG sequel, since there's nothing more fashionable than looking like you've survived an apocalypse. Here's word:
Today we are announcing an exclusive clothing and accessories line with the premier name in gaming and geek clothing. J!NX creates the clothing for the biggest franchises in the industry such as World of Warcraft, Minecraft, League of Legends and Portal 2.

We are excited to be in such great company with the other games that J!NX represents and for the quality product they produce. Wasteland 2 has a distinct visual look that lends itself perfectly to apparel.

Not to hard to connect dots when there are not many to connect. It doesn’t take a genius to figure this one out. Believe it or not, your choice, but my gut tells me these guys are using kickstarter money for all the wrong reasons. This is not the first time this has happened and is exactly why kickstarter came out with new regulations on this.

Are you dense? This stuff had to be created as rewards for the backers who knew their money would be going toward this stuff anyway? If you contibuted that much than you know what you were getting into and if you didn't it doesn't affect you regardless so shut up. And seeing as the merchandise is going to have to exist regardless there's no reason not to try and capitalize on it while it's there anyway. Jesus. Fucking seriously?

but InXile is or was flat broke trying to make a game.

Ok, and where did you get that? Just because no major publisher wanted to do a wasteland game doesn't mean they were broke.

You seem to be going out of your way to connect the dots here...

Did I miss where it said that?

No you did, because it doesn’t, but InXile is or was flat broke trying to make a game. Where did this magical money come from if not from Kickstarter? Your going to tell me that Brian Fargo just happen to have the money in his own account to fund this clothing line? Yea Right!!

So InXile took Kickstarter money and used it to start a clothing line. I don’t believe this falls under their terms of Kickststarter and how that money was supposed to be used. They promised a product and now they’re trying to profit off Kickstarter money by starting a clothing line.

This all somehow seems to fall outside the terms of what Kickstarter is for. Is this fraud to those who donated to them? And no one is going to sit here and tell me that InXile did not use any of the Kickstarter money to start this clothing line up.

I, for one, always dress myself as if I've crawled out of a sewer after hiding for 6 months from a world meltdown.
Hope they make a matching cologne

Really though, there could be some cool threads, as long as it's not too over the top.
