Kickstarter Policy Changes

There's a new update on the Kickstarter Blog titled "Kickstarter Is Not a Store," which follows that hopefully obvious point by outlining some policy changes intended to make this distinction more apparent when viewing listings on the fundraising site (thanks nin). This includes the requirement that projects list "risks and challenges" they face and that hardware projects cease using simulations and renderings. Of these changes, they say: "We hope these updates reinforce that Kickstarter isn't a traditional retail experience and underline the uniqueness of Kickstarter."

Another game on Kickstarter that looks promising is Blackspace.

They worked for EA sports and have shipped tons of AAA games and they can't even list one of them? Right. Pass.

Working together for the past 7 years, Jerry Phaneuf and Volga Aksoy have contributed to award-winning AAA games, including EA Sports MMA, Madden NFL Franchises, NASCAR Franchises, Tiger Woods PGA Tour franchises, and more. With their combined holistic knowledge and high-level experience, they bring the best in art and design, software engineering, and project management.
