I'd be more than a little surprised. It's happened before with steam updates (outside of FTL), and it's almost always a false positive.

There's nothing massively multiplayer about this game. 12v12 on "maps" isn't an MMO, you'd think trion would know better. The meta game certainly could be considered an MMO. Think about the current MMOs for a second every single one of them you are pretty much only dealing with 5-25 people at a time usually in a dungeon/pvp/raids or what have you. So not really all that different when you think about it on those terms. |

Okay, back to FTL! So far, I'm really liking FTL. It has this retro, C64/Amiga feel to me, and the game will beat you down in a heartbeat. I'm LOVING FTL. I really hope this is an amazing runaway success for the guy. It's so simple to play but there is so much to see and do. The achievements he picked to unlock other ships were perfect. I just unlocked the lvl 2 rock ship and holy cow that thing is fun. IT'S DOESN'T HAVE ANY WEAK SPOTS, IT'S A ROCK!!!
Uh, what's FTL? You don't know what FTL is? It's a rather awesome game, funded by a kickstarter. The guy(s) making it were even nice enough to include the 10.00 backers in early beta access before release. Here's their site: http://www.ftlgame.com/ Interesting. I have been out of gaming scenes for years even though I still hang out on BN. I just don't play them.
Heh, I kept thinking For the Lose (FTW = For the Win).

+1 for FTL
I am having a god damn blast playing FTL. I'm now trying to get achievements to unlock separate designs and new ships but god damn, the final boss is a nightmare to defeat.
And I still only unlocked the 2 designs for the Enge(sic) ship. The second design is nuts, only one crew member, the rest is robots and the ship comes without sensors. |

Okay, back to FTL! Beta testing is not so good with all these huge updates and game data... it takes a toll on the monthly bandwidth. |
