I just hear my guildmates bitching about it at vent, getting disconnected after 20mins of gameplay and having to queue again for as long as 90mins.
And 400k isn't that much... we're in 2012 you know.
If this game was by another company, the devs would have been tarred and feathered on here.

Same here, the game is non-stop! I head to do a quest and along the way a new event pops up and I do that for 15 minutes or so then go back to my quest, ALWAYS something going on.
I also like to play solo a lot, but the events allow me to "virtually" group for events and execute a common goal with complete strangers for a short time (no commitment) and then do my own stuff again, it's a GREAT design. Travelling is very easy, not much time wasted running across a map for no reason.
Playing a Norn Guardian and currently at level 7, been having a great time. It really does merge the feel of an ARGP and MMO together, will be playing this one for a long time.

I know this was just a silly troll but it helps to know what you're talking about, overflows are an intentional game design to prevent queues. It's actually a really well implemented idea that other MMOs should take note of, you can keep playing the game while waiting to enter the world instances.

Gotta love Blizz haters, if this game was made by Blizz, there would be a huge outrage about Error 7, queues and overflows.
Arenanet's farts must smell like chanel no5.

I posted a full list of my issues further below in the thread. For something that already had 400k concurrent users on the Saturday headstart, I think it's generally been a fair launch.

Stupidest question in the world I know, but hype is a bitch. Is there any reason someone who hates MMOs would like this game?

Anyone else finding crafting a bit frustrating?
Copper ore being one of them, the conversion ratio for ore per bar for one. Then trying to make weapons requires a lot of bars. I’m finding that per weapon, the amount of bars required seems a bit high. Plus finding copper isn’t exactly and easy chore either.
What race are you? The human starting area Queensdale is drowning in copper ore, particularly around the quarry to the west of the Divinity Reach entrance. You can take the Lion's Arch gate thing to there if you're a different race or hunt around for better spawns. Ore spawns aren't shared btw so don't worry about people hitting "your" node or vice versa.
Playing a human, and yea I know about the nodes not being shared, that was a great idea on their part to not share them.
Ill have ot run over there. Im always short on Ore.

how big is the digital download?
