Steam News announces the release of a Windows edition of Iron Brigade, confirming last month's speculation that a Steam release of Double Fine's tower defense/shooter was in the works. The game is on sale for the next week for 20% off single copies and four-packs, and here's word:

I posted about internet game issues with the game, and two guys from Double Fine (at 10 PM at night no less) were happy to post and try to help out. Including the god-like Brad Muir who I have much man-love for (if you've seen him on any of his Giantbomb appearances you know why lol). Needless to say it's pretty nice of them to be doing that. But then again 10 PM here is only 7 PM where they are, even so that's past work hours for normal folks
They do seem like a nice bunch of folks, and I hope the game does well for them.
