Funny, I thought Congress was comprised of both parties. You really can take offense at anything, can't you? |

Wheee. Downloading Steam games at work on Friday afternoon when everyone's already gone is awesome. Pulling down Witcher 2 at 17.8MB/s.
Steam wasn't kidding when they said they fixed the issue with download speeds like a year or so ago.

Hopefully this will provide the same sort of negative reinforcement as a crate that will make him not want to do this because it means walking around in a wet belly band, Good news!
If the band doesn't work, there's always a rolled-up newspaper. Tested (extensively) on hobbits, also effective on wargs and goblins.
It works on Cody, as well.

Quality journalism right there. But of course, what can you expect from a "green freak." Well, when your source is "some guy sent us this picture on Facebook"...
My journalism teacher would have risen from the grave, crucified me, and then died from a heart attack if he heard of Facebook being used as A source, much less the only source. Yeah, I laughed my ass off at that article.
GLOBAL WARMING! Well, OK, really a dumpster fire...CAUSED BY GLOBAL WARMING! Well, OK, really not so much, but you won't call me on it, right? I mean, I did verify it on Facebook and everything. |

Good to hear it most likely isn't anything serious. I might of considered the belly band for our youngest pup when she was training, but with their thick hair I don't relish the idea of giving her a bath every time to get rid of the smell when she had an accident. |

That's good to hear Blue.
Misleading headline is misleading, bad newspaper. "Oklahoma is so hot that street lamps are melting." No they're not. The long-strand translucent polymer bubble covers are melting, and that's because they're made using one of two forms. Either by lowheat forms then glue bonding, or by vacuum forming. The bulbs themselves I'll bet are low pressure sodium, both of which emit very little heat. Meh we used both types of forming back when I was working in medium and heavy industry, and when the plant hit 125-130f, all our stuff would go *bloop* the first time we did it, we yelled at management. And shitcanned it. The second time, we switched to a new forming processes.
