Yup. As the previous poster stated - they GRINDED FOR MONTHS to get the gear they wanted
I played a lot of Diablo II, like years of it. You grinded for a long time but you were constantly getting good loot even if it wasn't ideal for your specific class. Thats what kept people going. I was always finding neat stuff, tons of set items, uniques and other things. There were low level sets, runes and many cool things to collect. From what I hear that is no longer the case in Diablo III, my friends and family all complain that the loot is simplified and boring. People can't even say its just low drop percentages and to be patient because the sampling size for the game is massive. If most of the interesting things drop in Inferno then a lot of the players will never even see them. Blizzard should get on that, they are supposed to be all about accessible enjoyment.
We dont always agree, but that is how I have felt since day 1. I have 6 characters and about 60+ hours in the game. I have zero legendary drops, about 40 rares, and only 1 super low set item that was worthless in level 6.
