The Korean Fair Trade Commission raided Blizzard's Seoul office on Monday after receiving complaints from gamers who were refused refunds over inability to play Diablo 3 during server outages surrounding the launch of the action/RPG sequel, reports the Korea Times. "We have received many complaints from Diablo 3 users," a spokesman for the FTC told the paper, though he reportedly refused to elaborate beyond admitting that Blizzard is under investigation. This doesn't sound like the outcome will live up to how dramatic this all sounds, as while the report says authorities "secured related documents and other evidence with which it will determine whether Blizzard broke the law," the potential outcome is apparently simple refunds, as the paper says: "It’s too early to see any results of the probe but some investigators expect the regulator to issue an order mandating Blizzard to provide a full refund to all unhappy customers."
