Out of the Blue

All the excitement of our possibly moving (and of course the NFL draft) will have to take a back seat today, as MrsBlue and I are celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary. We'll probably spread the celebration out over the weekend as we enjoy the fact that we still enjoy being married, which is, sad to say, more than a lot of people can say after so long.

Rage Quit - Trials Evolution. NSFW. Thanks jimnms.

Just got around to watch this one, and it perfectly outlines why games like that suck. The "gameplay" consists of fighting the shitty controls and crudely rendered physics. Weee?

I'm glad Fringe got it's 5th season, but they really need to reign in the writers and get some focus on that show. I'm not even sure WTF is going on right now between the porcupine people that keep showing up, and the lab ship out at sea. Last week's episode was a giant disconnected episode that made little sense in context of the narrative.
I like Fringe but I'm very surprised it has lasted this long. The plots are hugely convoluted and not because the series has incredibly depth but because it isn't focused or well written. I think the series peaked with the episode that went back in time and had the retro intro. The whole joined universe of the current season is just nonsense, despite the occasional great episode.

Fringe doesn't really deserve a fifth season, they're just doing it for syndication money down the line. They squandered the last season with some of the poorest writing in the shows history and considering how rocky the first was, thats saying something.

Hopefully that's exactly what a shortened last season will force them to do.

Blue I had the honor of attending my mother's cousin's 50th and 60th wedding anniversary, and it was amazing that they made it that long. But the love they had could easily surpass 100 years if it were humanly possible.

Congrats to both of you as it doesn't seem that long ago that you announced that you were getting married.

Any chance of us long time fans of your beloved site get a picture of the happy couple? As I don't think that we've seen a picture of her, let alone you in a long time.

The secret to a happy marriage is fine dining, lavish gifts, great sex, and not having your wife find out about any of it.

My neighbors were celebrating their 66th anniv. today, I gave them a ride up the hill so they could walk down for their exercise. The hill is about 40 yards, but that's probably equal to triple the distance at 89 yrs old.
