GetGames has it for $33. I'm pretty sure you won't find it any cheaper than that for at least a month.

PS: Skyrim alt-tabs just fine. No issues here. Must be user error.

Try alt-tabbing on a loading screen.

I did, does the same thing as when the game is loaded. Works fine. Which is actually more than I can say for the majority of games out there. Most games have to finish loading before the alt-tab will even be executed.

Weird, when I Alt+Tab on loading screens, nothing happens. Guess it varies per OS.

That's what I thought at first, but it doing it for every game, mp or not, is a bit silly. There's no real need to pause a download when I'm playing sp.

Prez is right. The idiot ignorant people hammering support over lag would be ridiculous if they didn't have it automatically Pause any downloads when a game was loaded. I'm sure they already get plenty of dumbass people contacting support over lag and they just have p2p services running in the background.

I think they should just let users determine when shit downloads and when it doesn't. Not having anything downloading when I'm playing a Steam SP game is just stupid. (in case that it's a game that doesn't like to alt-tab. Like Skyrim.)

Oh noes, you have to manually restart the download once your game is loaded. It's a tough tough life.

I'm sure Skyrim is very happy with the extra bandwith...

As much as I wanted to get into Hitman, I never could and maybe things are better with the newer versions. The controls are huge pain, too many scripted events and animations are extremely stiff.

Too many scripted events? While the NPC routines are definitely scripted, that doesn't force you to play the game a certain way. The gameplay is still very open-ended.

Of course, I'm not sure which Hitman games you're actually describing. The first two games did have a lot scripted events. You should definitely try Blood Money, as it's easily the most open-ended of all the Hitman games.

Almost bought Hitman, until I watched some gameplay videos (is not the game I was thinking it was).

Dark Messiah is probably the best melee combat I've played in a game and really looking forward to Dishonored!

Edit: Damn, didn't realize DM was on sale for $2.49, grabbed it!

What kind of game did you think it was? A straight up shooter? The series has always been about stealthy and methodical assassination. I definitely prefer that over straight-up shooting but to each their own.

The Hitman games are GREAT fun. I thoroughly enjoyed all of them. Blood Money is the one that particularly stands out as extraordinarily awesome.

Yay for today's 'cheeves', but boo for constantly getting nothing... 18 (I think) items, and not a single one useful... I say this, because tomorrow, when I win every game on Steam, I can feel silly... : )

Knocked today's out real easy like... Still didn't get a few for games I have though (Isaac, Dungeon Def, uhm... one or two others I can't think of... and a lot of the 'free' ones - Spiral Knights, etc)...

I think I spent about $20-30 for the whole sale, so I'm fine with that, and have put in like 10 hours on S.P.A.Z. so far, so yay : ) I had tried the demo, and didn't think it was worth 'full price', maybe partially because of the silly humor.

Tempted to get Dark Messiah, as so many have raved about it, but I remember giving it a 'demo' when it hit, and not being able to put more than an hour or so into it... But at 2.5 doll hairs (heh), I may just do it...
