I was excited about this, but after downloading the archive from Nexus, there's too many other hoops to jump through to get it installed. I'm supposed to use the Nexus Mod tool, which requires an account with Skyrim Nexus and I need to install something called the Skyrim Script Extender.
... really? You just download SKSE and the mod, extract SKSE to your main folder and the mod to your Data folder. Voila, done. You don't need the Nexus Mod Manager.
Default UI isn't that bad when you get used to it, when you do, you handle it FAST. The key is using only keyboard and ignoring the mouse.
Bull. I've heard this argument from various placements and it's simply untrue. The UI sucks regardless of whether you're using mouse, keyboard or gamepad. Every menu requires scrolling and some menus (inventory and alchemy come to mind) require a ridiculous amount of scrolling. Seriously, when I'm making potions, I spend about 50% of my time just scrolling. It's retarded. I can't wait for SkyUI to redo the alchemy menu because as it stands, it's just horribly inefficient.
