Looks fantastically not fun to me. Graphics from 2006? God-like powers making fights easy? Childish characters? Cliche' fantasy world setting?
Guild Wars 1 has graphics from around 2006, and GW2 look considerably better. The videos are just demonstrations of the skills, and should not be taken as "this is how easy the fights are going to be". I agree that they did make the Asura look more childish, which was kinda of a bummer for me, but by no means game breaking.
What would you consider a non-cliche fantasy setting? Arenanet created their own races as opposed to your standard Tolkien-esque races. The origins of their races are fairly unique. And they've made a good effort to make versatile, non-standard professions. GW2 even has somewhat of a renaissance feel to parts of it (mainly the human areas), whereas the Asura have generally had an Aztec feel and the Charr have an industrial wasteland. I'm curious to hear what else Arenanet could have done to make this setting non-cliche.
Not trying to start something here with you, but I really think you should look up more on this game. It looks really fun.
