CS isn't any more "skill" based than any other game. It is all time based. The more time you play, the better you are at knowing when and where. The non stop random headshots is why I quit playing. Headshots shouldn't be the highest % of shots.
There are significantly less non-skill variables to deal with in CS thus the outcomes have more to do with skill rather than unlockables or other perks.
There are plenty of people who've been playing the game for years who are still terrible, to say it's "all time based" is idiotic and as an FPS player you should know that. The difference between CS and games with unlockables is that those players
do remain terrible instead of getting improvements to their dmg/aim/survivablity the longer they play.
Also I've never understood the "random" headshot complaint. A bullet lands on the head and you get a headshot. You make bullets land on the head by aiming at it. Now the random part I'm sure your referring to is recoil, are you suggesting that because people aim at the chest and the recoil causes their shots to drift upwards to the head that it isn't skillful, it's just a roll of the dice? CS has no replay kill cam, how do you know if a headshot on you is random without someone else recording a demo of the game from spec.
