Anyone know if the keys from Green Man have gone out for pre-loads?

Still, you shouldn't pirate.

There is no excuse. Our hobby suffers because of what you are doing.

On Bit Torrent and USenet, PC version and will be trying it in a few hours. Going to wait for them to patch it up then purchase the collectors after Xmas, or if that isn't available get the regular.

I have been duped one too many times by day one purchases and just am tired of it.

Did anybody at Bethesda ever confirm how moddable Skyrim will be on the PC? I saw an interview with Todd Howard some time back (maybe six months ago) and he suspiciously non-committal about modding capabilities.
Fully. We're getting a toolset, it's just not ready yet(and after the morrowind craptacular crashfest set) that's just fine. They used DDS and nif's because that's what the mod community already uses, and want to keep it simple so no need to relearn anything.

Coming from someone who has 60hrs into the XBox360 edition, this game is amazing. The last 20hrs or so I haven't even touched the main quest lines, just discovering places, doing side quests, crafting, and the game is stellar.
The only con I really see to it is the load times. But since the XBox hardware is a bit outdated, I'm guessing a top of the line PC can crunch through load times in no time flat so it shouldn't be much of an issue.

There is a lot to do in the game, a lot to take in. I don't forsee a lot of complaints about it.

Septims always have a dragon on them, something to do with the septim line being dragonborn, and the revelations of akatosh and all that.

There's some really interesting lore surrounding it all.

I was looking in my change drawer the other night and found the Imperial Septim that came with my old Oblivion Collectors' Edition.

Just watched the Gametrailers review. Graphics were shit and I swear most of them were taken right from Oblivion. I'm so glad PC graphics are better.. and course the modders will have even better ones available within weeks lol.

Damn I feel like a kid again watching the clock tick by so very slowly. These last 7.5 hours are taking FOREVER!

Fuckdammit, Bethesda. even when switching to a so-called "new engine", your shit STILL crashes? Fuckers.

??

Why would a new engine be less likely to crash? Logically, it should be more likely since the old one has been around for plenty of time to track down and fix crash bugs.

Great reviews, though the PC interface issues are troubling. Then again, BT UI mod was one of the first mods released for Oblivion. Guess I should finally start pre-loading it. 9 hours left until release (?)

On a vaguely related note, Beth's Rage is on sale for 33% off on Steam. That was kind of quick.

Just heard confirmation of what I imagined the "infinite quests" would be on the 1UP livestream: Basically the Night Mother dead-drops. You get a letter that says, "Go kill X at Y." And not even named NPCs, lol. Like, "the angry guard".
