I bought Heroes V last year and still haven't gotten around to playing it yet, so it will be a while before I pick this one up. Hopefully, they'll patch the always internet connected DRM by then...

Jaguar, do you ever sleep? You seem incredibly prolific for what (I assume) is a part time, one man job.
Yeah. I'm efficient when I review, which helps when you have something new to do every 5 days (got Stronghold 3 today!).

Gah! Lucky bastard! I look forward to your review of it as I have been jonesing for a good Stronghold experience.

I've blasted the always on connection of Heroes VI since day 1, but that reviewer is a retard. You can set the option to save your game every turn. That way if you do lose your connection, you don't lose any progress.

I don't know, a friend of mine was playing this last night and got interrupted 8 times. Regardless of save state it seems worth mentioning as it definitely can impact the gameplay.

Either way, always-on DRM for a single player game is an absolute dealbreaker for me. Glad he at least pointed it out and talked about its shortcomings. I half expect other review sites to gloss right over it.
