Mass Effect 3 "Killer New Feature" Coming

It's announcement of an announcement time again, as Computer and Video Games has word that the next issue of Xbox World (on sale October 25) will unveils a "killer new feature" in Mass Effect 3, the next installment in BioWare's space action/RPG series. They speculate this may be some sort of online mode, which has been the subject of conjecture in the past.

Some people have sex with pillows. Given, they might find Alenko's personality somewhat flat, but it's close.

Alenko isn't an underage anime girl. Even the pillow humpers wouldn't be interested.

I don't play Mass Effect for the shooting. The shooting works, but it's in no way "good." Why would I want to do that online against people who are better at it than I?

Homosexual relationships. You heard it here first.
Uh....... That was already in the second one. Wasn't it also in the first?
Not man on man, only implied lesbianism.

A season pass. Give us 30$ up front, and save 50 space bucks on all DLC.

I think Gocows actually guessed it. This is exactly up E-fucking-A's alley.

they will have announced a new one within the first month of release.

Well before that, as they've already announced plans to go all the way up to ME6. All they've said is that 3 will be the last with Shepherd as the lead character.

Isn't the killer feature it being the end of the series?

Ohh for the love of... No BioWare just friggin combo ME1 and ME2 together into a fantastic game. Take the good from both lose the bad.

I don't even need to know what the Killer new feature is. I just don't. Unless its built in video capture software so you can record your own game vs say Fraps. Then no good can come from this annoucement. None.

And I'm a BioWare fan! But they keep making it harder for me to justify anything there doing lately.

A button to make the AI stop running in front of the Player Camera and Line of Fire? Just so you can hear them scream some dumb ass bark about "check your fire" as if it's the player's fault for dumb shit AI.

A button to make the Sloppy Ass Console Game Play (yes, I'm insulting real Game Play and Design by even mentioning it in the same sentence) and Design go away?

A button to have the complete game released at once on launch day? Instead of having to wait 6 months or more before they finally release the last of the cut content.

A button to ......

Scorpio Slasher: ... What about you boy, what do hate?
Marcus: ... Bullies. Tiny d*ck egotists who hurt people for no reason, make people lock their doors at night. People who make general existence worse, people like you.

That one Asari lady's going to have her boobs pushed up so high now that they will rest on her shoulders and transform into ion canons to shoot mechs.

It's going to be the multiplayer reveal. It's the worst kept secret about Mass Effect 3, and I'm surprised that some folks here are still under the impression that the game will be single player only.

It would be hilarious if they went the exact opposite route of DA2 and announced that ME3 would be a slower-paced, more cerebral experience than its predecessors with a greater emphasis on roleplaying and lesser focus on action.

That's some strong stuff you're smoking.

Hilarious, but also awesome.
