The First Syndicate had a world map. That was my entire point.
So what?
It's like some of you will only be happy if you get pixel-for-pixel remakes.
This is moving so far away that we probably won't even get a map. We'll get a game similar in tone and concept. It will probably be fun, given that it's being handled by a pretty solid developer. It will probably be one of the better FPGs games of its launch year.
And people will still cry and moan that the cars no longer look like eggs.
Moron. Think. An isometric top down tactical game becomes a FPS. Can you not understand why this would throw people.
Yes, but it isn't like anyone here expected a new Syndicate to come out as an isometric top down tactical game, eh? It's been 15 years since the last one, and that one was just ok.
The most recent game for people here to lose their shit over switching perspective was Fallout 3, one of the better games of the past several years. Yet few seem to have learned the lesson of all that bitching and moaning and take a wait-and-see approach. Nope, cue the bitching!
I wonder if Castle Wolfenstein fans sent John Carmack hate mail when Wolfenstein 3D was announced. "It needs to be a third person stealth based platforming game, you're apologizing for the industry and ruining the entire concept!!!!"
