RIFT Website announces that
the promised sixth month birthday celebration for Trion's MMORPG is now underway, offering benefits to existing subscribers, a few different contests, and free access to the game through the end of this month for all. The free period includes "access to all levels, zones, dungeons, PvP Warfronts, and more," and previous subscribers and anyone who played on a trial account can access their previous toons.

At any rate, I find Rift fun in spurts which for a MMOG makes it unique for me.. I mostly enjoy it for the PvP, though.. Warriors are fun..
I keep canceling my subscription, then resubbing, then getting burnt out again, etc. It's just not quite worth it at $15 a month for me. At $10 a month it might be.. It's one of those games I want to play every couple of weeks or so
It is the best MMOG I've played overall thus far. WoW has more content but after playing Rift it just feels too easy
Checking the site it looks like they have a 12 month plan for $10/mo. I'm not sure if they always had this plan though, as people who bought the game on release could get a 3 or 6 month plan for the cost per month of the current 6/12 month plans. |
