... (they are likely selling DX:HR at a loss at under $30).
I haven't seen it for sale there for $30. I've seen it there for $30GBP, which is $46cdn/$48USD. And when I do see the non-GBP price, it's $48.
http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/55270$28.80 (US dollars) deal info there, thats the price I got it at. Pretty sure they are selling it at a loss at that price.
There's a new coupon code in that thread that should still give that price.
I don't know how they deal with region stuff and different pricing between regions, so dunno what price it will give you in GBP if you cant get USD. UK often gets screwed on tons of things in pricing like that, and AU gets screwed even worse.
I'd offer to buy it from USA and send you the steam code, but there's no guarantee that valve won't revoke and remove the game after a few weeks since its different territory (I assume you live in UK since you've mentioned GBP). They did that with orange box purchases when people bought legit asian steam serials, then put them into USA steam accounts. Then they told everyone who had purchased them, tough crap go buy it again. Woulda been better if they'd just prevented the serials from being entered in the first place, instead of taking games away that people paid for.
More info:
LinkMy guess is that that wouldn't happen between USA and UK, especially since I doubt that GMG is differentiating the codes by country for people ordering. I think valve mostly cares about the much cheaper legit asian country retail copies getting to countries like USA/europe.
