I can't believe how many people are buying this. And I'm even more amazed seemingly 90+% of the comments are positive towards it.

I admit, I have purchased a CE in my past. However, it wasn't for 3 times the price of the regular game. And it was a mistake as we know all Collector Edition purchases are. If you've never made the mistake, have yet to regret a CE purchase and you insist, by all means make the mistake.

It didn't tempt me. And I used to play WOW in a hardcore raiding guild. If you can't tempt this Star Wards nerd, you aren't trying!

I've been waiting since EverQuest launched for a good Star Wards MMO. Don't even mention Galaxies. Skipped it and glad I did. But I have no intentions of skipping SWTOR.

The 7 day head start better be worth it to you. I can't believe how stupid the in-game items are. It was like they gave the CE design to a unpaid intern who waited till the day it was due to throw together a pile of shit and present it as a "Collections Edition".

And that "ability" to shop in a store that non-CE buyers can't is ridiculous. Expect opportunities for them to steal more of your money. Or, if enough people buy in to the concept, a majority of quality game content will become premium priced.

Oh wait, we have that already, they're called "FREE to play" MMORPG's.

For the normal $60 you now get a low res variant of the game, your character is not allowed to wear gear, whenever you hail a NPC you flatuate and Salacious Crumb can be heard laughing at you the entire time you play.

I'm going to send my message by avoiding this CE. It'll matter as much as my vote does in national elections. I won't get what I want, but at least I can say I voted against George W TWICE! I vote against crappy CE's TOO!
