Out of the Blue

I made the summer's first batch of Buffalo chicken wings over the weekend, and they came out very nicely. I've got the technique for making them on the grill down pretty well, and they are surely less unhealthy that way than deep frying them. I do still need to get better at cutting them apart, however, as I tend to cut through bone, which doesn't harm the flavor, but does make some of them less aesthetically pleasing.

Not trying to tease, it's just so simple i barely qualifies as a recipe.

Cut the tips off some chicken wings and feed them to the dogs. Separate the rest of the wings into their two parts, the double bone and the "drummette." Boil them in beer for 15-30 minutes then grill them over medium heat, turning frequently. When the skin is browned and crispy, set them aside and let them cool a bit. Heat some Frank's Red Hot sauce and butter until the butter melts (tradition calls for a 50:50 hot sauce to butter ratio, but mine is more like 90:10), and toss the chicken in it until it's coated properly. Serve with celery and blue cheese dressing.

Couldn't be easier, or more delicious. Chef

Oh for flying f*ck sake. Is it more damaging to society as a whole to have teens having a bit of fun...or to brand them as criminals. Hell, gotta finance the prison system somehow so may as well get 'em young as we can.

When I was in HS a mere 10 years ago, this would have resulted in a slap on the wrist, your parents calling you an idiot and maybe a little school counseling on what is and is not appropriate public behavior. What the hell has happened since then to make this a criminal matter now?!

Actually, come to think of it, there were 2 juniors at my high school who got suspended for a similar incident. But they were straight up screwing in a music practice room. No charges filed. Wussification of America going on here.
How will I know limits from lies if I never try?

Thanks for the quick replies, looks like I'll go with MineCraft+Terraria,

I've not heard a single bad thing about Terraria. I need to grab it...

Thanks for the quick replies, looks like I'll go with MineCraft+Terraria, since the two together are still a couple of bucks cheaper than Alice.

I bought Terraria last night, but I was only able to play it for 30 minutes or so. Oddly enough, I find myself itching to get home and play it more. Seems like a neat "little" game.

Haven't played Minecraft or the new Alice, but I've heard the former is pretty impressive, while the latter is rather mediocre and repetitive.

Minecraft, Terraria, and Alice: Madness Returns. They all seem pretty appealing, but I was wondering if anyone has any input to help me decide which are worth buying. Thanks!

Alice is ok but unremarkable, it's also fairly expensive right now even on sale prices. Terraria is bit of an odd duck but it's quite interesting. It's like a strange mix of Zelda, Minecraft and Castlevania. If you're more into adventuring and less into crafting, I'd get Terraria. If you're really into making things and exploring, definitely get Minecraft, that's pretty much what the game is all about.

Personally I enjoyed Minecraft but got bored of making rollercoasters and mining operations so I picked up Terraria. I've ended up spending a fair chunk of time with Terraria and the dev team on it is very active so I don't regret the purchase. You could have both games for the price of Alice anyway so why not just do that? Each will easily give you a few weeks of time, if not significantly more.

I do have to say though, your first night in Minecraft playing survival mode without any tutorials or help is very tense and interesting. Few games have been able to replicate that kind of experience IMHO Anyways good luck, HTH.

I couldn't think of a good spot to ask this, so I'll just do it here.

I'm looking for a new game to play, but most recent games haven't really stood out. I've been looking at Minecraft, Terraria, and Alice: Madness Returns. They all seem pretty appealing, but I was wondering if anyone has any input to help me decide which are worth buying. Thanks!

There are one or two places around here that grill wings instead of frying them, definitely the way to go.
