Has anyone complained about the regenerating health yet?
Stupid console port! Why couldn't they do it like Portal 1 and it's... regenerating health?
I know thats sarcasm, but in the interests of stimulating discussion I'm going to answer it seriously.
This is a good example of a game thats appropriate for regen health. Throwing health pack pickups around would just distract from the game. There's no guns that consume ammo and thus no ammo packs, so there's no packs expected anyway. Many hazards in this game are instant kill, so the amount of health is moot for those. The main hazard that is durationally based is the turrets, and while its not exactly realistic that you'd auto heal from that, the question has to be:
Would it distract more from the gameplay to have healthpacks everywhere, or have auto heal which leaves one free to concentrate on the puzzle aspects of the game which the game is about?
