Played the first seven levels yesterday. The writing is fun and had me laugh quite a few times, but shit, they're basically exactly the same damn levels I got in the first Portal.
I know the game is going to be the same, but recycling levels and puzzles? Really?
And it's 100% a console port. Obviously. What matters is whether that fact inhibits the gameplay on the PC. Other than (apparently) none of the puzzles being twitch-based, I don't think so, but I haven't played the PC version a whole lot yet.
Giving it a zero because it says "Don't turn off console" is stupid, but otoh, Valve's entire multi-billion dollar fortune has been obtained from PC gamers, and they could have at least spent a FEW fucking hours on removing those 'console' references. The game was in development for like five years, I'm sure they could have had one intern do a "CTRL+F - 'console'" right?
