It would be fairly easy for them to add I assume, if it's not there already.reisub wrote on Apr 19, 2011, 18:43:Wasn't that added to original portal with a patch? I'm sure they will add it to portal 2 as well. The only question is going to be, is valve going to stick to their track record of free DLC for PC.
Just read there are no advanced/challenge chambers. That's a bit of a shame. Hopefully we'll see some later.

Really? That's disappointing, I was looking forward to the "least portals" challenges.

I don't ever want to boot to my other win7 install on an ordinary SATA drive. I don't care that it has all my games and programs installed. This shit is so much faster!

Think of the mouse as putting your hand directly on the head of the person you are controlling. Now make him look "up".
That's why we use reverse mouse.
Beamer wrote on Apr 19, 2011, 18:08:Even if I visualize being inside the head, if I want to look up I tilt my head back, so naturally I want to pull back on the mouse to look up.
Yup, just a difference of if you see yourself as controlling him or being him.
All just in how you visualize it.
The default movement for joysticks was always push forward to dip the nose, and down to climb. Since Descent (1/2/freespace) and EF2000 (and Total Air War) were some of the first games I played, anytime I'm in a "3d" environment I want the mouse to behave that way. If they ever take away that option from games I'll be in big, big trouble.

One thing I do dislike is the constant loading. Run over here, load. Run over there, load. Time to retire Source.
So glad I recently set up my dual 120gb SSDs in jbod. My game decrypted in less than a minute, and loading times between sections are nearly unnoticeable. Easily less than 5 seconds.![]()

Nin, I am left handed and use a right-sided mouse.
However, that is no excuse for using reverse mouselook.
Go take your pop tarts and 3DFX cards and sit in the corner...![]()
For shame!
Noting this is not a left hand-friendly world,
