Can you really deny that this place is in a rut?
Maybe it is; I don't know. But then one can argue that it's just a symptom of gaming overall being stuck in a rut.
That there's little discussion and more empty flames and rants? That people are angry for the sake of being angry without even remembering what they're angry about?
That is not true in all cases. I'd say, at absolute worst, even the most hate-filled threads only have about 50% flame posts; I'm not sure why even that's a big deal - they are usually short, and even when they're not, it's pretty easy to spot them and skip over them to get to the parts you'd rather see. If you're not seeing any valuable discussion in any threads, you're not looking hard enough.
