RIFT Event Extended [Apr 10, 2011, 3:33 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
The RIFT Forums have news that the first phase of the River of Souls World Event in Trion's MMORPG is being extended for another week. Word is: "In the end, more people will have the opportunity to enjoy the event and all the rewards that come with it. We’re thrilled by how many of you turned up today and your encouragement is why we are committed to providing first-class World Events– anything less is unacceptable." Thanks IncGamers, where they also note that Trion is at work attempting to address someone who is spamming the in-game chat system.

The game was fun until i realised i was grinding away Warfronts..just like I did in WAR. I joined a Pvp server expecting some...well Pvp..the only pvp I found was getting ganked while questing. Most of the time Defiant and Guardians avoid eachother.
I hope someday they will introduce some kind of Rvr. I just don't know if that will work with only 2 factions.
The game is fun for a while..
I finnish this month and prob won't resub.

This next month will be critical for me as I've never made it past 2 months in an MMO.
But I've also never hit lvl max before Rift either and I've done that now but still am having tons of fun.

When DC Universe Online came out I played it through my entire free month. When Rift came out I lasted three days. I sure hope that Bioware's new MMO holds me over.
Still having a great time in this game.. currently the guild is only on the 2nd boss of Greenscale, but it's still fun for us. Lots of expert rifts and raid rifts too.

in my guild we have lost about half members after the first month; they were mostly inactives and were not likely to stay anyway.
There needs to be more endgame pvp content, and the raid content is really subpar at the moment. We'll see what happens in coming months...
If they don't fix the game up it will die like the others. It's a great, and fun game... but so was Aion for a time.
