Well... as I said before, for most PC gamers... anything going backwards or cutting corners is perceived by most PC gamers as "Consolitus".
I'm about as elitist as any PC gamer can get but I still recognize the importance of accurate labels. Consolitis refers to any shortcoming that is a direct result of console limitations or the catering to a console audience. For example, a clunky, inefficient UI that's clearly designed for a TV and gamepad (Bethesda's games are a good example of this) is a clear sign of consolitis. Regenerating health, Quick Time Events, third-person cover systems, aim assist, etc, are all symptoms of consolitis, as they were popularized by console games and considered standard amongst console gamers.
Recycled dungeons, lack of environmental variety, half-assed side-quests and enemies spawning out of thin air during combat are not symptoms of consolitis. They are symptoms of a rushed production cycle and/or lazy design.
