2027. A once proud America has fallen, her infrastructure shattered and military in disarray. Crippled by a devastating EMP strike the USA is powerless to resist the ever expanding occupation of a savage, nuclear armed Greater Korean Republic.
Abandoned by her former allies, the United States is a bleak landscape of walled towns and abandoned suburbs. This is a police state where high school stadiums have become detention centers, and shopping malls shelter armored attack vehicles. A once-free people are now prisoners... or collaborators... or revolutionaries.

Oh FFS - what a stupid premise.
Something more believable is another Civil war between the Libertarians who want freedom, and the Neocons and their brainwashed supporters who want to enslave them.

That's means you run around shooting things. And most often that means checking your brain at the door...

Is this even coming out on the PC? I only saw xbox on their webpage for this game.
The story is really weird. North Korea manages to take over South Korea, China, Japan, and other countries, before invading the USA. If they somehow invented a super powerful technology before doing so (Nanobots! Super mech walkers! Deflector shields!), then it would make more sense.. but the info so far suggests they just got.... really angry. Anger is power!
Danny Bilson, this fellow enjoys talking more than that annoying blonde who never shuts up.
Today Bilson let loose details on a multiplayer demo for THQ’s upcoming shooter Homefront.
“We’re gonna keep doing free demos on stuff going forward where we really want to engage players,” he said.
But here’s the meat and potatoes.
“I mean, there will be a Homefront multiplayer demo. I believe there will.”
So, he believes there will be. It’s not a definite. But it’s something!

Things that either can't be done on consoles or would be too difficult to do on consoles without having Steamworks there to do all the back-end hard work.
Is this even coming out on the PC? I only saw xbox on their webpage for this game.

Sooner or later our symbiotic relationship (they produce it and we buy it) is going to come to an end, and as the number one holder of US debt it's just a mater of time before they send a collections agency after old Uncle Sam.
