Actually if I remember correctly they said there will not going to be one because they did not have to make one.
Maybe it took them longer then expected to blow up all those gamestop balloons or something

The story is really weird. North Korea manages to take over South Korea, China, Japan, and other countries, before invading the USA. If they somehow invented a super powerful technology before doing so (Nanobots! Super mech walkers! Deflector shields!), then it would make more sense.. but the info so far suggests they just got.... really angry. Anger is power!

Is this even coming out on the PC? I only saw xbox on their webpage for this game.

Well, so long as the in-game story isn't stupid I can get over a somewhat stupid premise. It's plausible enough to not totally insult your intelligence, and honestly, the only people we can really fight are from the Middle East, and not only has that gotten boring but they have zero chance of a full-scale US invasion.

The idea of a modern war on home turf is an interesting one to play - has a certain impact and gives level designers so many interesting opportunities. But it's just not very plausible right now without bending reality a decent amount.

Today Bilson let loose details on a multiplayer demo for THQ’s upcoming shooter Homefront.

“We’re gonna keep doing free demos on stuff going forward where we really want to engage players,” he said.

But here’s the meat and potatoes.

“I mean, there will be a Homefront multiplayer demo. I believe there will.”

So, he believes there will be. It’s not a definite. But it’s something!

It's not just coming to PC, but it's using Steamworks, and because of Steamworks it's getting a ton of PC-exclusive features. Things that either can't be done on consoles or would be too difficult to do on consoles without having Steamworks there to do all the back-end hard work.

Now whether or not it'll be a good game, I have no idea. I loved the BF1942 Desert Combat mod, but Frontlines wasn't very good at all.

As for Homefront, they may be too busy to make a demo but the least they could do is release some actual footage of the "final version" being played both single player and multiplayer - and not more of those talking head bullshit trailers with quick edits of eye-candy moments.
