Well, we didn't get a white Christmas this year, but we certainly have a white aftermath, as here in the greater New York City area we got well over a foot of snow in a blizzard that began midday yesterday and continued well into the night. I did most of my digging out this morning, surviving the ordeal without further aggravating my already-sore back. We are properly prepared for being snowed in, as I completed our batch of "milder" chili overnight, turning out over a gallon of the good stuff, which is indeed milder than the usual inferno, though it can probably be used to melt ice in a pinch.
