Does anyone know why "Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines" never goes on sale? I'd love to gift it for $4.99 or less, but $19.99 for a 6 year old game that probably won't be played isn't going to happen.

Bought Bad Company 2 the other day. 9/10 games I join I get disconnected within 120 seconds.
Thanks, EA Games.

Just great, I bought King Arthur yesterday on steam when it was 50% now it's discounted even higher. WTF!? So now for half of what I paid for just the base game, you get it and all the DLCs. GRRR!
LittleMe wrote on Dec 25, 2010, 01:37:Cool. Yeah, I have a 19" LCD monitor so 1280x1024 is my native resolution. Yes, the bugs were very annoying! I had to restart the game a few times because of them!Ant wrote on Dec 25, 2010, 01:16:
Even at lower resolutions like 1280x1024? I don't remember that problem with its demonstration/demo. However, I did have game bugs.
Oh good question. Not sure! I always played it at 1920x1200 (native and 3d res) because otherwise it looks blurry/terrible on my lcd. If bugs were your concern, I think they fixed a whole lot of them.

Is ARMA II, like, playable now?
Yes. I got the $12.50 bundle on amazon last night and played it for about four hours. Had a blast. Great game even though it's PvE against often brain dead bots.
I suggest you have a 1GB vid card. Well, on my 4870/512 the game performed badly no matter what I did but on my 5870 it's good. You'll need to download the patch for each game if you get it on amazon.

Damn, wish I saw the amazon deals before I bought Arma II the other day on Steam. Does anyone know if the amazon Combined Operations version gives two keys(one key for arma 2 and one key for operation arrowhead)? If it does then I would just get it and give the basic arma 2 key to a friend.

I have always found it fun myself. I never really noticed too much of an imbalance with archers - of course if you give them the high ground they become lethal, but that is pretty realistic to me.
There have been quite a few upgrades since launch, though, so maybe it will be more to your liking. Friend me in Steam and the game is on me.

Also the expansions/DLC for Arma 2 is totally worth it. All of that plus some of the major mods people have come out with make it the best military shooter in existence by far. Plus creating your own missions is pretty simple and fun.
Thanks SirKnight. How can I buy the DLC for the Amazon version of Combined Operations? I don't see any of them up there. The Steam DLC requires the Steam version of the games. TIA
