So i take i am the only one who doesn't like SC2. Cliché, bad gameplay, bad AI, bad story, does nothing new. Sign of getting old?
Maybe because i never was a fan of RTS games in ... ah well
Nah, i am the same way. I enjoyed the original for a few months when i was 17, and after trying this one it offers nothing new. Compared to some games that came later like Rise of Nations, its just too primitive.
I can see how younger crowd would have a lot of fun with this.
Im 30 and I dig it. So do most of my friends. But then again we've been playing RTSes since Dune2. I have a friend who is currently trying to finish the entire SC2 campaign on "brutal" difficulty, quite a feat apparently.
Its definitely a throwback to the old-school RTSes of old. Does that mean its bad? For example I really dig WH40K: Dawn of War 2's multiplayer. Does that preclude me from liking SC2? Why would it?
Sure the story is full of cliche's and the gameplay is more of the same old same old. But it works and its FUN!
