A teaser trailer on GameTrailers.com offers the first clip promoting Operation Flashpoint: Red River, the upcoming military shooter sequel in the works at Codemasters. This does not offer gameplay; the clip is actually mostly live-action, though the exterior shots of the helicopters are CGI, with audio from the man in black himself. Thanks TaczBr.
They have to start the hype as early as possible but like someone has already said, I'm not buying this after the overhyped and underwhelming Dragon Rising.
They were lucky the first time to get the sales they did due to the name. Now that we have seen the cluster f**k that was Dragon Rising I doubt they'll have much luck this time. Codemasters totally ruined the OFP brand which should be given back to Bohemia.
I wonder if anyone is still stupid enough to trust Codemasters after the shit that was DR and then them dropping support for the game completely, not to mention all the doctored videos and pictures.
Dude filming on a camcorder while Johnny Cash plays in the background? Not even waiting for the actual game to start dropping the Generation Kill references...
