Blizzard is sending out emails to World of Warcraft players whose accounts have lapsed to invite them back to check out the MMORPG for the release of the Cataclysm expansion, reports IncGamers. They say players are being offered seven days of free play time to get re-addicted see what's up.
Not happening. I took them up on their 7 free days, but all I did was send a mass mail to my friends, saying "this is what I'm doing now, join me there if you want to". That and slapped another 18 asshats on ignore just out of principle. And I did that in 10 minutes. That alone tells me how far this game has sunk, not that it had very far to go in the first place.
