Lol I remember buying my first pc to play Tie Fighter. It had a soundblaster 16. I installed the game, only to see the message: not enough EMS memory...

I had to buy QEMM to get it to work (before I knew how to edit config.sys and autoexec.bat, that is).

Oh such good times...

That minecraft video link is not a video of the explosion talked about in the preceding link. It's nowhere near as big as the articles screenshots show and doesn't match the description at all.

Before the advent of dos4gw, anything created by Origin was usually hellish to setup. I needed to have multiple choice config.sys and sutoexec.bat files depending on the game I wanted to run, loading anything other than a basic mouse driver had you running into low conventional memory messages.
