This EGOSOFT Downloads Page now offers new version 3.0 patches for X³: Terran Conflict, an update that was also recently released through Steam. The new version of the space combat sequel adds a new 'Balance of Power' mission, a reward for Operation Final Fury, and a new Steam-only Dead-is-Dead game mode. On a related note, Steam now offers sales of the X SuperBox, a bundle of all the X space combat games, currently on sale at a 10% discount. The X SuperBox Trailer offers more on the bundle.
The stock game's dogfighting isn't very well fleshed out but one of the game's strong points is the modding community, and there are many plugins that will enhance dogfighting quite a lot.
