Star Trek Deep Space Nine MMOG Announced

Gameforge announces Star Trek – Infinite Space, a free-to-play casual MMOG based on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The game will be playable in a browser, and they expect it to launch next summer. There's no detail on the game at this point, though they do tout the bona fides of its developers: "Gameforge tapped keen games to develop the title in conjunction with expert Star Trek consultants Denise and Michael Okuda. Based out of Frankfurt, Germany, keen games is one of the country’s most established game developers with more than 17 years of experience working with numerous publishers in the industry."

Are you really Cthulhu? If so, how did you get internet access in R'lyeh? Shoggoth LAN server?

I'm actually re-reading the complete works of Lovecraft atm - available on iBooks as two volumes at 99 cents apiece. Bargain!
