I find it pretty comical that games get a score of 100.....that means no game will ever be better than THAT game....
I have a hard time with that rationale for avoiding giving a game a 100 score. If you cap your top score at any point below, be it 99, or 98 or 95, you are saying the same thing when you give out whatever is your maximum score.
Anyway, I don't think that's what a 100 should mean: It's not the best game ever, simply that it's the best game it could be given the technology and genre.
I personally don't like 100 point review scales for that reason, not to mention the following sort of question it raises: how much better is an 82 than a 81? My preference is a 10 point scale where a top-flight game indeed deserves a 10.
