Mafia II is now available in North America, announces 2K Games, saying the open-world crime sequel is due on August 26 in Australia and August 27 internationally. Word is: "This pistol-packed period piece transports players to Empire Bay, a fully realized and immersive urban cityscape set in America during the 1940s and 1950s. What does it matter? For one, NO ONE GOT HURT VIA ROOTING! Christ, it isn't taking a product for free. Most people root to get rid of shitty software put on by various companies. This isn't some evil deed. No one gets hurt in the process. No money is lost.
And, for the record, rooting was NEVER illegal. And just because it's legal doesn't mean companies support it. Essentially that ruling just said they can't seek legal means to prevent rooting, it doesn't mean they have to allow it.
And, again, rooting isn't stealing!
