1. Games released day one have bugs. I pirate games to see if I like the game, and if so I buy it. I usually wait till I finish the game, till all DLC's are out and buy the Game of the Year Edition with all patches and DLC applied. Saves me from buying the game and being a unwitting Beta tester.
I hate this argument.
You get something NOW but pay for it LATER.
I don't get how this isn't wrong to most of you.
If you want to pay for it LATER then play it LATER. If you want to wait for the bugs to be squashed then wait for the bugs to be squashed. Don't play it now. Wait. Be patient.
Are you guys the same ones that cable advertises to when they say "Don't wait for it to be on Redbox or Netflix!" Screw that. I can wait a few weeks to see a movie. I can wait a few weeks to play a game. Hell, I can wait months for both. I'm not so direly in need of entertainment that I need something the second it hits.
I'll wait for something to be the condition I want, the price I want, and the delivery method I want. If it isn't currently there I won't take it for free and wait. And I won't take it now, get my full use, then pay for it when it's cheaper and comes with more things down the road.
