Mafia II is now available in North America, announces 2K Games, saying the open-world crime sequel is due on August 26 in Australia and August 27 internationally. Word is: "This pistol-packed period piece transports players to Empire Bay, a fully realized and immersive urban cityscape set in America during the 1940s and 1950s. The action unfolds with white-knuckled car chases, explosive gunplay, compelling characters and an engaging narrative set against a backdrop of meticulously detailed period environments that showcase the difference a decade can make in the evolution of music, fashion, advertising and automobiles." I love how people on this board start crying after people pirating games... and then they cry when a game is pay-to-play mmo.
Sorry but we all have different standards, mafia 2 is a single player experience, just like bioshock, i think that Red Dead Redemption is a much better game overall and deserves the GOTY title over this.
I was playing Neocron, ww2online and trying out different other mmo's in 2001, that's 30$ us/month for 5 years almost. Who said i never supported pc gaming ?
Do not blame the individual that protects himself from being ripped off by a shady and buggy product. I have paid 60$ for non 3D games like Conquest of the Aegean and never cried 'ripoff'. I paid for the programming skills of the operational AI.
This game is a single player theme park, nothing fancy but well done.
