Fallout: New Vegas Voice Talent

A story on USATODAY.com outlines how Obsidian is rolling the dice on some high-profile voice talent for Fallout: New Vegas. their upcoming post-apocalyptic RPG sequel. Voice actors in the game include Wayne Newton, Matthew Perry, Zachary Levi, Ron Perlman, Felicia Day, Danny Trejo, Kris Kristofferson, Michael Dorn, and more. They also have an interview with Wayne Newton about his participation in this project. Thanks Eurogamer.

Cool. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoy hearing "familiar" voices in games.

I just wish this didn't use that fucking Renderware engine.

I just PRAY to god they get rid of the guy who voices about 10 npc's in Oblivion and Fallout 3. He voices the character that offers you the job to blow up Megaton.

Can Danny Trejo just play a character named Trejo????

I'm almost ashamed to know this but, Def Jam: Fight for NY has a character voiced by Danny simply named "Trejo."

No Penn & Teller?

Their corpses make a cameo in the desert.

Michael Dorn, at least, had a role in Fallout 2.

He also had several roles in Mass Effect 2.

Looks like a solid lineup. I can't wait! New Vegas baby!

Classy move! I'm looking forward to this one.

It made me chuckle when the interview on usatoday suddenly shifts into a serious tone at the end of the article:

...In the real world, Newton has been asked to participate in a Vegas citizens' catastrophe response committee with the U.S. departments of Defense and Homeland Security. Should he ever be asked to record one message for posterity, Newton says it would be to "never give in and never give up. I think it is that message people need today."
