StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty sold more than a million copies in 24 hours and 1.5 million copies over the first 48 hours of availability, announces Blizzard. They say this makes the real-time strategy sequel the biggest PC game launch of the year, and that this sets a record "for fastest-selling strategy game of all time."
Well there was one RTS which pretty much everyone took part in those days. It was called "The Cold War".
You had two sides, one was Red the other was Blue, and the point of the game was to piss the other side off into attacking first. You see the rules were different back than. Obviously not much happened since no one wanted to attack first....But it was fun while it lasted....
