Some press sites are saying that the campaign is accessible enough that anyone can enjoy it. Do you agree?
So yes the single player campaign is accessible enough for a new player. And the difficulty can be changed at any time, mission to mission.
This is the saving grace
I just got my butt handed to me in the final mission (or next to it), so I think I'll reduce to easy for this one, and come back and replay when I get some practice in. So far I've been able to beat everything on normal, and some on hard too.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it! Sounds good, might have to pick it up. Is Blizzard the only option if you want to pick it up digitally? Any benefit to buying it direct?
Yes, they are. No there isn't. All blizzard wants is the CD key, then its forever associated with your blizzard account and you can redownload it and install it on as many computers as you like (can only play on one at a time). And the prices on digital and retail are the same. So might as well get it boxed if boxes are at all interested to you. For me, I made an exception and bought my 2nd or 3rd boxed game in like 5 years for the CE of this, since its an epic game. I think my last boxed game was fallout 3 CE, and before that probalby UT2k4 CE. In fact, my gift certificate from ut2k4 was so old, they had to reissue it to me (thank goodness for california's laws about them never expiring).

Nobody is talking about the game being great just because of the CGI movies, except you. I don't base a games enjoyment on the cutscenes...However, they are great, not all are CGI, most are in-game engine cutscenes and they are great too.
I have been talking about the CGI in a few threads. Its not great "just because" of that, but thats a major part of it for me. In SC1 you only got a cutscene start and end of each campaign. In this game you get one start and end of each MISSION. In SC1, enough people were into the cutscenes that blizzard sold a DVD with them in a high resolution.
So while it would not have made the game good to me if it sucked except for CGI, it makes a great game much better in my eyes.
I know you were responding to someone else, but I figure I'll use it to throw in my 2 cents about it
