StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty sold more than a million copies in 24 hours and 1.5 million copies over the first 48 hours of availability, announces Blizzard. They say this makes the real-time strategy sequel the biggest PC game launch of the year, and that this sets a record "for fastest-selling strategy game of all time."

$60 dollars for a PC game? I will never pay that much no matter which game it is. Could I afford it? Easily. What I won't do is allow game companies to establish a trend with my money. If everyone else is fine with paying one hundred dollars for games with in the next five years have at it. Not me.
$50 max. $45 much more likely. $40? I'd let em poke me in the eye.
There have been other games listed at $60 for PC. Consoles are even more. Blizzard isn't the first.
I've waited for games to drop in price before, but I get the feeling its going to be a long wait with SC2.
