This game is not a port. It is developed on PC first. In fact the PS3 version is not coming out for another 5 months or so and the only current beta is the PC version.
I like naive people myself. Like people that think a game that ever shows up on a console is anything but designed with the consoles in mind.

It's really quite future-proofed in terms of graphics.
I don't know, the videos of gameplay I've seen haven't really warranted these kinds of specs.

No damn reason a ps3 port needs crysis like system reqs. Sounds like the game is horribly optimized and instead of fixing it they decided its ok for the game to run like shit. Game doesn't even look that good.
