My personal "crusade" against Steam

The retail and GFWL versions always worked on the Steam version, and neither has any DRM. This release is solely for the people who never buy anything anywhere other than Steam, which shockingly and sadly is starting to be a big number.
Oh look, it's StingingVelvet continuing his private Steam crusade while lamenting the negativity of PC gamers elsewhere.
Hint: Not wanting to use a stupid point system in order to purchase DLC =/= never buying anything anywhere other than Steam. Real currency > 800 MS points any. day. of. the. week. Not to mention the hoops you have to jump through just to *get* to that point.

The game is a buggy mess. Too many game breaking bugs.

Oh gee. NOW you offer it on Steam.

So if you had the steam version, would you have been able to use the retail versions of the DLC? I always get confused on how this all works and I stick with buying the actual game from the store still because of this.
