And why shouldn't I be able to do that? Would the emotional trauma prove too much for you?
I look at it differently. Why would you want to respond like that? Does it make you feel more like a man?
Persons purchasing products are entitled to certain things, things which include technical support.
Yeah, and how are you being deprived that because you have to use an actual name and not
melikestheboobies2010 on their forum? Like I said, I think this is kind of stupid on Blizzard's part, but I'm not seeing the hysteria. I know I'll get endlessly flamed and called an advocate for censorship for saying this, but I really don't care. I think what it comes down to from my perspective is this:
If people had more self-control and self-discipline to behave appropriately whether they are anonymous or not, they wouldn't have to be worried about watching what they say and how they say it. Man up, and stand by by what you say - don't hide behind some faceless avatar. That's called cowardice in my book.By all means; say what you want to say - the internet is the last bastion of pure freedom. I'd never advocate censorship by legal mandate. Rather, I'm a proponent of self-censorship via civility and decency. At the very least say what you want and take personal responsibility and accountability for it.
